The correct answer is:
$+2,0,+2$
The structure of $\mathrm{C}_3 \mathrm{O}_2$ is
$\mathrm{O}=\stackrel{+2}{\mathrm{C}}=\stackrel{0}{\mathrm{C}}=\stackrel{+2}{\mathrm{C}}=\mathrm{O}$
Considering the oxidation state of each oxygen is -2 , we get the two carbon atoms linked with oxygen atoms are present in +2 oxidation state and central carbon atom has zero oxidation state.
$\mathrm{O}=\stackrel{+2}{\mathrm{C}}=\stackrel{0}{\mathrm{C}}=\stackrel{+2}{\mathrm{C}}=\mathrm{O}$
Considering the oxidation state of each oxygen is -2 , we get the two carbon atoms linked with oxygen atoms are present in +2 oxidation state and central carbon atom has zero oxidation state.
