The correct answer is: 9λ5

For Hydrogen atom (H) (Z = 1) : 1λH=RH×12112-12 ...(1)

For He+ atom (Z = 2) : 1λHe+=RH×22×122-132 = RH 1 - 49 = RH 59 ..(2)

From (1) & (2)

λHe+λH=95

λHe+=λ×95

λHe+=9λ5.
