The correct answer is:
$927^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$
$v=\sqrt{\frac{\gamma R T}{M}} \Rightarrow v \propto \sqrt{T}$
i.e. if $v$ is doubled then $T$ becomes four times, hence $T_2=4 T_1=4(273-27)=1200 \mathrm{~K}=927^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$
