The correct answer is: -34 
a2x2+ax+1 is positive for all real values of x

  Area=01a2x2+ax+1dx

=a23+a2+1

=162a2+3a+6

=162a2+32a+916+6-1816

=162a+342+398 , which is  minimum for a=-34
