During glycolysis, in the first 2 steps 2ATPs are used up and in the later stages conversion of the BPGA to PGA and PEP to PA results in formation of 4 ATPS in total. Also, the 2NADH2 formed during conversion of DHAP to 1,3- biphosphoglyceric acid yields 6 ATP in total. Thus, the net count of ATP formed in aerobic process is 8.
