Ribosome is a structure found in the cell whose main function is protein synthesis. Ribosome is found attached to RER or scattered in cytoplasm as free ribosomes. Nucleus has ribosome and ribosome is synthesised in nucleus. Mitochondria and chloroplast are organelles which have their own DNA and ribosome.
